With Martin Luxe Kovar Acoustic Guitar Strings Martin has introduced a new alloy, Kovar, which is a blend of Nickel and Cobalt that gives a natural corrosion resistance superior to bronze strings. Tone wise, they sit between phosphor and 80/20 bronze.
