GHS Boomers Electric Guitar Strings
GHS boomers are a product with 50 plus years of experience from GHS. They are the GHS's most popular set of strings and are used by many leading guitarists in the industry. Boomers have nickel plated steel wrapped around a round core. This gives the string its signature bright sound with a long sustain.
Round cores are unusual for electric sets and provide more flexibility and tone life than hex cores found in most mass-produced strings.
Boomers come in a variety of string gauges to suit every player and musical style. Boomer heavier gauges are perfect for drop tunings, such as drop D.
