Cleartone 80/20 Strings

Cleartone 80/20 Strings are made up of 80 percent copper and 20 percent tin. This composition makes the string sound brighter, crisper and with more accentuation in the high end. It also has less of the lower midrange frequencies that sometimes make your instrument sound muddied.

These strings are designed for a wide verity of musical styles. Due to their high tension and softer sound, they lend themselves to be very expressive and have more of a resonant attack. Also, the high tension winding over a high-grade steel hex core gives this string a great response and a more accurate and consistent tuning without making the string feel slippery or flaky.

Cleartone has used their EMP (Enhanced Molecular Protection) treatment. It prevents rusting due to your hand's acidity levels. It is an ultra-fine coating that, although used in other strings, Cleartone made so small that it does not interfere with your instrument or the strings tone (the coating is about 1 micron thick, in comparison your hair is 10 times thicker)
