Internet Guitar Tuner
Strings.ie is pleased to introduce the world's first ever Guitar Tuner with onboard internet!
In their latest innovation, following last year's groundbreaking Left Handed capo, Strings.ie have pulled out all the stops with what is likely to become a worldwide phenomenon.
"We've been working on this highly secret project for three years" said April Thurst, head of Strings.ie development team. "We noticed that when guitarists are practicing their guitar and a notification came in on their phone they would have to stop playing to check their phone. We feel there is a better way which is why we made our new guitar tuner with an internet connection".
The tuner works like regular clip-on tuners and is suitable for all instruments but in an industry first, this tuner has a wi-fi connection, touch screen and a retina display. The prototype model has been tested with Facebook, Google, Twitter and all the popular services. It even works for shopping on Amazon.com.
But that's not all! April Thurst informed us that when the tuner is finally launched it will also include a highly secret technology that actually recharges the tuner's batteries by converting vibration energy from the Guitar into actual electricity. Just 5 minutes of strumming is enough to charge the battery to give 2 hours of continuous use!
"we hope to have the new tuner available by the fall" said April Thurst.
Strings.ie development team are currently based in the West of Ireland where they work in a converted peat turf shed located in an isolated secret location. The success of last year's left handed capo allowed Strings.ie to take on several talented new employees including two top engineers from Google and Nasa. The team are working on several exciting projects including an ever lasting guitar string that they hope to announce in 2016.
An announcement on the internet ready Guitar Tuner will be made when the product is ready for market.
